How Things Work

  1. TV Streaming Services: There are no free-to-air channels connected; everything runs through the Amazon Fire TV Stick. How to access Fire TV:

  • Turn on TV with TV remote control

  • Press the “Source” button and select HDMI 3

  • The Fire TV Home Screen will be displayed

  • Use the Fire TV remote to browse streaming apps

  • Guest can use their logins to access streaming apps

2. Laundry: There is a washing machine and dryer in the apartment.

NOTE: The wash and dry cycle is approximately 4 hours. The door cannot be opened mid-cycle due to the high temperature. To remove your items, you must pause the cycle and allow the machine time to cool down and unlock safely. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes for the drum to cool and for the door to unlock. It is not recommended to use the dryer if you are on a strict timeframe.

3. Smeg Coffee Machine & Grinder

  1. Fill the tank with water before use.

  2. Add fresh beans to the grinder hopper.

  3. Adjust grind size with the dial on the grinder (medium-fine for espresso).

  4. Turn on the machine and allow it to heat (~30 seconds).

  5. Insert portafilter with ground coffee, press start for espresso.

  6. For milk frothing, use the steam wand on the side.
